I’ve been obsessed with the whole 70’s trend lately, this look is inspired by everything that I am loving at the moment. The Chloe Spring 2015 runway show had a major influence on how I decided what I would be wearing this Spring and Summer. For years I clenched my teeth at the thought of ever having to wear a denim skirt again. But I have totally changed my mind on that topic. I think at the moment I’ve collected a handful of denim skirts and my obsession doesn’t stop there. Everything 70’s inspired is so fab. From clogs (yes I just said clogs), to off the shoulder tops is just so effortless and cool. I always refer to perfection as effortless so I apologize in advance for over-using that word.

Have a great weekend!

There is just something about a good trench coat that makes you feel like you can live without it when you don’t have one, but the moment you do get one.. You fall in love. Well that’s what happened to me at least. I have been eyeing this trench since last fall but I just wasn’t sold on spending the money on it because I didn’t believe I’d wear it as much. Well, I was wrong. I got this beauty from a favourite store of mine, Aritzia.

I decided to keep it simple and casual because thats all I seem to be doing lately. I have my Adidas Stan Smith sneakers on to balance out the outfit and make it more wearable for everyday. I have been on such a sneaker kick lately I just cannot stop buying them. I used to hate sneakers except for your typical converse but now I feel like I could start my own sneaker line because I have collected so many over the past few months.

As for my dress, I have on a t-shirt dress that I purchased last summer. Whenever I see t-shirt dresses I stock up on them because I know I will wear them a ton. They are so essential for summer. You can throw them on for a day at the beach, or if you just simply don’t know what to wear. Brandy Melville is where I usually get mine because I have certain styles from there that I like and they are also super inexpensive.

Happy Friday!

For todays blog post I went with a sporty-chic look. I am wearing some of my favourite spring accessories which include espadrilles, vintage Chanel, and a hat while exploring downtown. The weather has been so beautiful these past few weeks here in Saskatoon, until I woke up to snow on the ground this morning. My next few outfits will NOT be a reflection of spring.

I recently just bought this army green dress by Anine Bing and am in love with it. This dress is so versatile as it can be dressed up or down for any occasion. The silk material of this dress is super comfy and flattering for all body types as it is cinched in the waist.

There is one detail in this look that is my absolute favourite. The bag! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my post about it. This vintage Chanel bag was my Grandmothers back in the 70s. I never had the opportunity of meeting her, as she passed away before I was born. Now I know who influenced my inner fashionista.
