I can’t believe how quick the summer has flown by. I remember it being the end of April and thinking to myself, all of the things I wanted to accomplish before the summer ended.  I can firmly say that I have crossed going to New York for the first time in my life and jumping into the lake with all of my clothes on off of the bucket list.

I’m not as excited for the school year to start back up again as I should be, BUT I sure am excited to for fall jackets, booties, and pumpkin spiced lattes. I’m also looking forward to getting back into a routine and having a set schedule.

As it’s still warmer outside I wanted to slightly incorporate some fall trends to this look. Suede anything is such a huge trend for this fall, so be prepared to see me wearing a ton of it. I went for my chocolate brown All Saints Suede Fringe Jacket and some denim Levi’s. I’ve already collected 5 suede jackets for fall and I don’t regret that decision at all (even though my bank account might disagree). For shoes, I am wearing my trusty Isabel Marant Jaeryn heels that I am trying to get every bit of use out of before the weather cools off.

Hope you all liked this post! Happy Hump Day!

I’ve been obsessed with the whole 70’s trend lately, this look is inspired by everything that I am loving at the moment. The Chloe Spring 2015 runway show had a major influence on how I decided what I would be wearing this Spring and Summer. For years I clenched my teeth at the thought of ever having to wear a denim skirt again. But I have totally changed my mind on that topic. I think at the moment I’ve collected a handful of denim skirts and my obsession doesn’t stop there. Everything 70’s inspired is so fab. From clogs (yes I just said clogs), to off the shoulder tops is just so effortless and cool. I always refer to perfection as effortless so I apologize in advance for over-using that word.

Have a great weekend!

For todays blog post I went with a sporty-chic look. I am wearing some of my favourite spring accessories which include espadrilles, vintage Chanel, and a hat while exploring downtown. The weather has been so beautiful these past few weeks here in Saskatoon, until I woke up to snow on the ground this morning. My next few outfits will NOT be a reflection of spring.

I recently just bought this army green dress by Anine Bing and am in love with it. This dress is so versatile as it can be dressed up or down for any occasion. The silk material of this dress is super comfy and flattering for all body types as it is cinched in the waist.

There is one detail in this look that is my absolute favourite. The bag! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my post about it. This vintage Chanel bag was my Grandmothers back in the 70s. I never had the opportunity of meeting her, as she passed away before I was born. Now I know who influenced my inner fashionista.
